We welcome Professor Andy Thompson to give the GEO/AOS/HMEI Climate Seminar remotely. Dr. Thompson is a professor of environmental science and engineering at Caltech. He studies the impact of mesoscale processes on the large scale ocean circulation and climate. On Monday, he will discuss the transient response of the overturning circulation to atmospheric forcing.  Please find the abstract below.
