Reed Maxwell professor of civil and environmental engineering and the High Meadows Environmental Institute, will present “A Better Understanding of Water Availability in the U.S. Through Community Tools.” This event will be held online via Zoom webinar — register here in advance to receive a webinar link.

Maxwell will discuss how machine learning, high-performance computing, and data can be combined to help solve some of the biggest challenges the United States faces related to water scarcity and security thorough an interactive, local-level accounting of available groundwater.

Maxwell is the final speaker in the Spring 2021 HMEI Faculty Seminar Series, which is open to the public.
