Jan. 30, 2018

Congratulations to AOS Graduate Student Jane Baldwin, a PEI-STEP fellow, who was awarded an Outstanding Student Presentation Award at AGU's Fall Meeting in December for her presentation on the research she's conducting under the fellowship. Her winning presentation was titled "Temporal Compounding of Heat Waves in the Present and Projected Future."

Last year, Baldwin won a similar award at AMS for a paper on a preliminary study for the same project. She is advised by AOS Faculty Member Gabe Vecchi and STEP Director Michael Oppenheimer, Princeton's Albert G. Milbank Professor of Geosciences and International Affairs and the Princeton Environmental Institute.
