Gabriel Vecchi has been named the Knox Taylor Professor of Geosciences effective November 18, 2023.

Gabriel has been a professor at Princeton since 2017. He is also the Director of the High Meadows Environmental Institute. His research interests include climate science; extreme weather events; hurricanes; mechanisms of precipitation variability and change; and ocean-atmosphere interaction.
