Title: Visiting Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Position: Research Staff
Group: The Sigman Laboratory at Princeton University
Area(s): Geochemistry, Paleoclimate
Research Summary: Alexandra Auderset's research focuses on reconstructing paleoclimate across different timescales, such as glacial/interglacial cycles, the Neogene or particular warm events in the Cenozoic (the Mid Miocene Climate Optimum, MMCO and the Mid Eocene Climate Optimum, MECO). She combines a wide range of proxies (lipid biomarkers, carbon/oxygen/nitrogen isotopes) to disentangle the relationship between greenhouse gases, temperature, marine nutrients, ocean circulation and tectonics and their influence on global climate.
Keywords: Geochemistry, Paleoceanography, Paleoclimate
