Title: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Group: Theoretical & Computational Seismology and Global Geophysics

Area(s): Geophysics

Research Summary:  I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Earth Science and Engineering at KAUST. I earned my M.S. and B.E. in Geophysics from UNAM in Mexico City. My research interests include seismic tomography, numerical simulations of 3-D wave propagation, and waveform inversion. Currently, my main focus has been on anelastic FWI using source encoding for exploration and regional scales.

Keywords: Full-Waveform inversion, seismic tomography, computational geophysics
