Research Summary: Gian Giacomo Navarra got his Ph.D. in Ocean Science and Engineering from Georgia Tech University in 2022. Giacomo Navarra uses model simulations, machine learning, and laboratory experiments to study climate variability in the Southern Ocean and key processes impacting marine ecosystems, including changes in biological cycles, in the Zooplankton and Phytoplankton diversity. In his Ph.D. he applied inverse model methods (Linear Inverse Model) to fisheries and higher trophic to produce forecasts.
