Title: Harry H. Hess Postdoctoral Fellow
Position: Postdoctoral Research Associate
Research Summary: Lauren Pincus' research interests lie at the intersection of geoscience, chemistry, and environmental engineering. She uses fundamental knowledge from these three subject areas to solve complex interdisciplinary environmental problems such as contaminant fate, design of sustainable water treatment technologies, and soil degradation. Lauren received her PhD from the Yale School of the Environment, and is currently a Harry H. Hess Postdoctoral Fellow in the Molecular Environmental Geochemistry Group at Princeton researching interactions between inorganic contaminants and microplastics.
