Research Summary: Many fossiliferous Cretaceous deposits lack contemporary volcanic rocks, hindering from determining the absolute age of the strata. My research interest is to develop a novel method for radioisotopic dating of dinosaur eggs to readily correlate distant sedimentary basins and study the evolution of terrestrial vertebrates in an enhanced temporal framework. Before joining the Niespolo Group, I completed my Master's degree in paleontology at Seoul National University, where I focused on understanding the archosaurian egg evolution by studying the crystallographic characteristics of fossil eggshells.
