Research summary: Deformation behavior of rocks and mineral phases play a primary role in understanding the dynamics of the earth's interior. I'm interested in studying the deformation behavior of mantle mineral phases and revealing the relationships between them and the observed seismic anisotropy.  My research interests also include mechanical properties and elastic properties of nanomaterials, high pressure science and techniques, etc.
